 Mobile Telecommunication Network (MTN), in partnership with Facebook, to provide their subscribers with a product called Facebook Flex (Freebasics) that allows all MTN users to switch seamlessly between free and data mode.   The Facebook Flex (Freebasics) is a fast, ultra lightweight and text-only version of Facebook, specially designed for browsing on a browser enabled device. The Facebook Flex also makes it possible for subscribers to post, chat, comment, like and share contents for free on Facebook.
